I was in charge of the check disbursements for an entire line of Tricare business. I counted each check that left the building and
balanced the books of this line of our government sponsored program. I maintained healthy business relationships that carried over
after I transferred to the underwriting department.

As an analyst, I learned my future trade by assisting my fellow underwriters in preparing requests for quotes, preparing renewal
folders, running queries, and preparing 5500s. I also reported directly to the Vice President of Major Group Underwriting. I would
prepare special projects and research certain special interests for our department.

As a Senior Underwriter, I am in charge of my personal block of medical and dental insurance that includes over 100 businesses
with over 50 lives. My goal is to balance profitability with new sales as well as renewing the business we have. I review fully
insured requests for quotes as well as prepare requests for quotes on self-funded proposals. Over the last twelve years, I have
developed authentic, professional relationships that have made my working environment extremely positive. I now mentor the
